The 2nd Flona Expo Starts Today

Jakarta Provincial Government is going to hold the second Flora and Fauna (Flona) Exhibition this year on upcoming November 27-December 28 at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta. Since fuel price has increased, the exhibition’s transaction is predicted to decrease.

About the exhibition’s transaction target, Head of Community Participation Division for Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Department, Heru Bambang Ernanto, disclosed that it is lowered from previous Flona Exhibition implementation due to several factors.
“We provide 100 booths for the event’s participants and targeting 500 visitors. But due to fuel price hike and New Year celebrations, the transaction value is predicted to decrease to less than Rp 1 billion,” he said, Wednesday (11/26).

“The most expensive are fruit trees worth about Rp 10 million. One three has three different types of flavors. For example, mango tree with three types of flavors such as harum manis, manalagi, and Indramayu. Then there is also a gold durian tree,” he informed.
